We are thrilled to announce a new detailed repair service which goes above and beyond our standard Revive & Refresh.
Unfortunately, losing hairs on any silk or lace top is inevitable with wear and tear as each hair is merely attached with a single knot. Many times we brush a little too hard, or allow conditioner and hair products to weaken the knots, blow dry using tension. It happens, it’s not a fault (as it arrived to you with all knots intact) it’s wear and tear – similar to a loose button on a shirt or a coat.
Prevention is better than cure so following the care guide and doing your best to handle your Topper delicately from day 1 is best. If you have only lost a couple of hairs (this is normal) take that as your warning to be extra careful. To help conceal a very small area of loss, you can move the part line over a little or use a little root spray/fibres/powders to hide the patch if it’s small. Then keep an eye, if you feel it’s getting worse, then you have the peace of mind of knowing the repair service is available for when you need it. Simply bookmark this page and revisit when you need it.
Before proceeding, please read carefully as this may not be for everyone:
• Do not use this service if this is your only Topper as this is a lengthy repair service.
• Do not use this service if your Topper is feeling old we state at the time of purchase that our Toppers are built to last 1-2 years although in many cases they do last up to 3 depending on how often it’s worn. Take the age of your Topper into consideration when decided if it’s worthwhile investing more money into your Topper. Anything over 18months we suggest using the additional money towards a brand new Topper and keep this Topper for holidays, casually popping to the shops, hair up kinds days.
The Repair Process

First step:
Book a video chat where we take a look at the Topper, the hair loss patch or patches, discuss how it’s been treated (to eliminate the problem reoccurring, not to tell you off ;-), discuss if colour work will be needed after the repair and any other changes once it’s been repaired, ie, where to part, any cuts, how to style, etc. Together we decide if the service is worth the price tag. There is no right or wrong answer, we just want the best for our client. During the video call we also look at the location of the hairs lost and discuss which of the repair services are best suited to keep the cost as low as possible for you.

Service option 1: Cheapest (rebooking hairs OVER the silk top only)
Only the hairs are re-hooked (no colour work, no washing/styling) sent back to you the same way it was received. This is the cheapest option because the hairs are hooked over the silk. The down side are visible knots and return hairs so location of the bald spot is key. If it’s right in the middle, or in the part line then this option is not recommended but if the hair loss area is underneath, near the wefting, somewhere not visible then this option is fine just to add in the lost hairs.
There might be a slight colour mismatch if the factory re-hooks hairs which are similar but not exact, slight odour from the factory adhesives, un-styled so you will need to wash and condition and style yourself. It will likely need a wash once you receive it back.
Service option 2: Cheapest (rebooking hairs UNDER the silk top only)
Only the hairs are re-hooked (no colour work, no washing/styling) sent back to you the same way it was received. The entire cap is pulled open, the hair are hooked through the lace, the return hairs and knots are hidden UNDER the lace, sealed with adhesives, those same hairs are then pulled through the silk for a flawless finish. This option is recommended if the hair loss area is near the part line or visible.
There might be a slight colour mismatch if the factory re-hooks hairs which are similar but not exact, slight odour from the factory adhesives, un-styled so you will need to wash and condition and style yourself. It will likely need a wash once you receive it back.
Service option 3: Premium & Recommended (R&R included)
Hairs are re hooked under the silk then we re-colour the new hooked hairs to match rest of the Topper, wash/condition/cut and style any way you like for the ultimate Spa experience. This is the most work but will give the best result.
If you choose this option 3 and want to add further colour work which is unrelated to the repair, ie, darker root, lowlights, colour all over, this is EXTRA.
Next Steps
Once slots open, client ships Topper back to us using Royal Mail Special Delivery to the Uk address we provide.
We ship all Toppers internationally back to our Factory. They estimate 6 weeks to complete the works but if they need longer, we never rush them.
We await for the repair of all repaired Toppers.
We complete the chosen service and send our client a video of the end result including tracking.
The service takes minimum 6 weeks and we will not be able to speed up or cancel the process once it’s started.
